Bouclé Velvet Trend watchers notice a revival of the wool and tweed theme. Raymakers responded with a heavy bouclé velvet in a mixed cotton/acrylic yarn with a dotted effect. This “bouclé velvet” can be produced in any colour combination at low minimums.

Flame retardant Velvets; blackest of black An in-house development enables Raymakers to produce a very deep black colour, mainly for the contract market. Even when exposed to high intensity lights, the colour remains deep black. Now available in 4 different FR qualities.
New trend colours 2008 Raymakers’ famous 200 colour stock range in the basic cotton velvet has even got bigger: 10 beautiful trend colours for the year 2008/2009 have been added to this program.
Frosted velvets; line extensions Trendy ice-colours, have inspired the Raymakers design team last year to develop a frosted glass velvet in many different grey tones. Extensions to this successful theme have now been developed. A glass velvet with a bi-colour effect; by dying pile and base of the fabric in different colours and also a bi-colour frosted velvet with a slub yarn is an option, very funky and suitable for upholstery, yet with a soft touch.
